How To Save Links To Artwork and Photos You Love:

Well by now I’ve been showing you some pretty awesome artwork and photos, created by myself and a growing list of guest artists!

Among all those pieces, you might be thinking, “Wow! That’s so awesome! I want to buy  prints for a grouping I’m imagining for my walls once we do a little redecorating next season… after I buy the fabulous new furniture!”

You may have even spotted images which would make fabulous duvet covers, or a group of throw pillows, or a cool shower curtain, not to mention a new wardrobe of t-shirts!

…However, truthfully, all those cool images might be getting a little lost!

How can you save and organize all the images, while keeping the embedded links so you can just follow them and make your purchases when you’re ready?

Ta-da-da-ta-da!! welcome one of my personal favorites: Pinterest! Yes, that addictive app!

Even if a website doesn’t have a button for posting directly to Pinterest (don’t worry, mine do!) you can enable an add-on to this popular app which will put a little button on your browser bar allowing you to save a webpage!

Now here’s where it gets interesting! You can create as many “Boards” as you want! So by all means get as specific as you want to!

“Ideas for living room throw pillows” and “Ideas for bedroom throw pillows” works much better than just “Throw pillows”. “Images for big living room wall”, “Images for small living room wall”, “Images for front hallway wall”, “Images for master bathroom wall” and “Images for big master bedroom wall” also work much better than “Images for walls”!

By creating many very specific Boards, you can post the same image in multiple places if you love it but can’t quite decide which wall you want to put it on.

Ah, but how to play around with images so you can make perfect groupings according to theme or color etc?

Hehehe! I got you covered! Enter the Secret Board! You can add and delete images from your other boards until you get just that perfect grouping! This means if you’ve saved 542 images to your “Ideas for the kitchen nook wall” and you need to pare it down to your top 6 images, you don’t need to delete all those cool images you’ve saved, just to be able to see them all together without distractions!

Again, you can create multiple Secret Boards, so you’ll have the exact images you want for each area!

…And that folks is how to do your online decorating even if you might be pulling images from multiple websites! You don’t have to stick to one website only for your decorating and have to rely on the teeny tiny images in the online shopping cart anymore to see how a group looks together!

So, here’s to decorating made easier!!
